First stay here Post-Covid and really enjoyed it.
The other reviews cover it well so just some reflections and added information. This hotel doesn’t have digital key so you won’t be able to check in online or choose your own room. We weren’t upgraded but were given a larger corner room in the booked category. This helped accommodate the cot - in fact the only rooms higher than we booked still open were King Deluxe View and King Exec View so I think the hotel had actually thought about this and this was best solution for us, so kudos to them on this occasion.
All the staff really friendly and helpful. Small Diamond welcome gift of some sweets in the rooms.
Our room did suffer some music noise from (I think) a gym below us, but could have been a club. It ceased around 11.
At breakfast there is a Gold and Diamond seating area. No extra breakfast items but feels like there is a bit more attention from the staff. No smoked salmon on the buffet but there is an omelette station, waffle irons and meatballs. The bread is all lovely and lots of choice. I really enjoyed this breakfast.
The lounge does get busy for happy hour 5.30-7.30. There were no hot nibbles just soup and cold snacks. There was slightly more choice on the first night and not everything seemed to get replenished.
Drinks wise there is Carlsberg, basic white and red wine, Cava and basic spirits. Given the price of alcohol in Sweden though it is still nice to head here for a couple of drinks before dinner.
Late checkout to 3pm wasn’t a problem, which was a real help on departure day. Only thing to fault is that the rooms are starting to feel a little tired with lack of charging etc but on the whole they seem well maintained. All in all a good stay.
