I’m in shock! Due to the reduced TP I have Taken a few extra flights just to get to Gold. Most recently a trip to the States. OSL-LHR-DFW-TUS with return. Booked in WTP and then upgraded to CE and CW For the OSL-LHR LHR-DFW flights. I have ALWAYS in the over 10 years flying with BA gotten the cabin I flew in TP…. ALWAYS, even when upgrading with avios. Today I was told That is incorrect, and that I should ONLY get the the TP for what I paid for and not for the class I upgrade to. So now I have a 160 TP too little instead of just 5.

I am so gutted I could cry.

Is this really true? Am I, as he put it really lucky over the years?
