Get an evisa. CX won't check you in without it and your trip will not even take off from HKG. CX/JL will not route your bag on different flights as you have to be travelling with your bag.
Hongkongers are not eligible to get an evisa nor a regular paper visa atm.
I've confirmed with both CX and JL. They won't deny boarding for not having a visa if my presence in DEL is for transit only.
In this case, I decided not to check any bags.
From what I've read, I figured that the transfer desk won't help to print my BP and mark it DT for the next flight T-4.
And I noticed that
the HIX hotel available AFTER transit security. I am wondering if I could skip the transfer desk and head to the HIX hotel directly.
I'm not sure if HKG will be able to print the JL BP for me. If I can get the JL BP in advance, will the transfer desk be able to mark it "DT" even it's T->4?
