MQDs with mid-trip cancellation

This might be a dumb question, but I'm reviewing my MQM/MQD earnings as we're getting close to the year and I have a question about some travel I had earlier in the year, where I had to cancel a trip mid-way through due to some work emergencies. Here's what happened:

- I booked PSC->SEA->AMS->BER and BER->CDG->SEA for $1797 on a single ticket
- I flew PSC->SEA->AMS->BER, and then had a work emergency
- This necessitated me to fly to another European city and completely change my trip
- I had my corporate travel person handle it as I was busy dealing with the emergency, and they cancelled+booked me a new flight from EU->BOS->SEA

Now I'm looking at the earning for that trip and it looks like I've only been given credit for $345 in MQD, though 5887 of the MQMs for that ticket.

I would have thought to receive a proportionate amount of MQDs like I did MQMs - e.g. ~50% of the distance = $898 of MQDs roughly? I guess the true question here is how those values are constructed - it defies my initial expectations that the trip would be balanced so heavily towards one leg of the trip.

Before chasing this up with Delta I would love any advice. I think I have the story straight but as I said, I was not the one performing all of the work on the backend to get things straightened out.
