Everything was great, but the thing that stood out most was the warm welcome we received from Jay who checked us in at the front desk - to Diego who helped with our luggage & valeted our car - to Kevin, the General Manager, who introduced himself to us right away! As Globalists, we received an upgrade to a lovely 1 bedroom suite with a beautiful view. Drinks and a light meal at the Cartier Arms, the hotel restaurant, was a perfect experience. And we really enjoyed our breakfast in our room before checking out midday. The hotel is located in the port/old Montreal area. We were able to take a quick evening walk over to the old market building which was just a couple blocks away. It is an excellent location for a longer leisure stay in Montreal - and I can’t wait to return to the hotel in the near future! (PS - I DID have some trouble finding the hotel using the map function on my iPhone, but I knew the general location was near Rue Berri & Rue Norte-Dame Est, so I used other landmarks to make my way there by car instead of blindly following the map’s directions. While I would normally attribute this difficulty to my lack of tech-savvy, I think that’s fact that the hotel is SO new might’ve caused the problem. Just a heads up)
We’ll be staying there for a couple of nights in mid-December. Can’t wait!! Upgraded to suite using TSU. What is the breakfast benefit for Globalists? You mention you had in room. Was that included??
