I wonder if the agent was confused. I completely agree it would be a big devaluation! Perhaps a case for HUACA?
I'm at a friendly IHG property tomorrow, I’ll ask what they have heard.
in the mean time another points booking for my wife for the week after next next with no difference or notification. It would have made the “other guests “ field on the booking form quite redundant.
