When nothing big is broken in the BA system the crew like to ensure that things stay unpredictable. I'm surprised that nobody walked you to your seat in CE just to cause confusion. I might suggest they take a leaf out of Marriott's book and refer to OneWorld elites by name, but someone else's name.
