bgriff thanks for your review. Regarding the mid-range private boat transfer from the airport and to the hotel at EUR 120, was it a sort of a normal water taxi? Was the driver waiting for you with a sign board etc at the boat dock at the airport? I am asking about this as my parents will visit the property but they've never been to Venice. My experience in Venice suggests a private transfer between the airport and the hotel at EUR 120 sounds pretty reasonable!
