On a Club World flight, the CC vanished after meal service. I had had nothing to drink up to that point (apart from tea). I pressed the call button - waited for too long - only to be told the bar was locked and only a senior CC person had the key. Eventually, a drink was produced after waiting half an hour. I'm curious. Why would a bar be locked during service? I can appreciate the CC requirement to eat or rest but surely staff should be left to properly serve passengers? Is there a lock
and a seal? 😕 My thought at the time was that they had (wrongly) locked up the bar as the cabin was quiet.
