Are you sure you just haven't reached a new milestone for next year? Perhaps 20 or 50k? Frontier IT is not exactly...amazing at their coding. It's possible you have ELITE status expiring 12/23, but not 100k itself, even though it looks confusing.
My travel with Frontier has been pretty light this year, so I don't think so? total status miles adds up to only 6,124 mi. I mean, at least I saved a screenshot of the expiration in hopes they honor it if it's an IT glitch. I do know it changed from 12/31/22 to 23 a few weeks ago.
