Of course the bulk of what I’m paying are CIC fees but I assumed the CIC fee was a wash as non discount den fares seem to be $20-$30 higher.
I only buy online with Discount Den. Frontier is a weird animal when it comes to flights. Depending on when you book, even cheap fares can have no CIC fare at all. As the pricing is quite dynamic, sometimes I have to monitor daily to see what pops up that's worthy. Most of my travel is flexible, similar to who this pass would have been good for.
I am also MCO based, and the best mileage run is actually MCO-ONT (4,340 miles).
Routes I flew from MCO to in order to keep my 100k status with the pricing I showed above were to:
DEN, AUS, BNA, BTV, CVG, PHL, ALB, MSN, ONT, LAS, SJU, and SAT.
With the 3x Elite multiplier promo, ONT was worth 13,020 qualifying miles r/t. Sweetened the pot to 21,700 miles with the end of year 5x promo. ONT flights ran $49.96 close-in to booking. I have booked several Vegas trips from MCO at $21 as well. The deals exist if you're patient enough with Frontier to check fairly consistently.

For people confused, I'm references 2021 multiplier deals, not 2022. It remains to be seen if Frontier will bring a multiplier in the last month.
