Just completed 2 separate stays here last week and am a globalist.

Stay 1: 2 nights. Booked king corner room using cash. We came for a concert at Vivint so didn’t have a car. Arrived at the hotel and entrance was blocked off. It was election night and news trucks were there. Multiple campaigns were having election parties. Got right to check in. No upgrade on my phone. I saw they still had king 1 bedroom suites available for the two nights on the app at check in so I asked. They told me there were none availability so I got my phone out and proceeded to book one all the way to the check out screen. I told them what would happen if someone booked that room right now. Would you walk them out? He went back to the manager. I kept checking my phone and the suites all disappeared online. 15 minutes later he came back and said it was a glitch but they could upgrade us to the regency accessible suite. I wasn’t expecting this but gladly accepted. Sorry I didn’t get pictures of the room. The room had a huge living room with a kitchen table, work desk, sink and counter and a second bathroom. The extra room was nice so we could both work from the room. A few kinks are still getting worked out with the hotels. The spare bathroom had no hand towels or anywhere to put them actually. Neither did the area by the kitchen sink. If you used the second bathroom, you had to walk all the way to the master to dry your hands unless you brought a towel with you. For almost a 1000k square foot room there was a lack of garbage cans. Nothing in the kitchen. Closest one was by the bedroom. We were working from the room all day so we didn’t get housekeeping either day. With all the debacle checking in I forgot to request 4 pm checkout. Wednesday night when we got back I requested it and was granted. Thursday we had the presently occupied sign on and a manager knocked at the door and asked what time we were leaving. I told them 4. Alittle while later someone from housekeeping knocked and was in the process of letting herself in when I got to the door. Same question. What time are you checking out. Highly annoying as they told us we could check out at 4 and knew we were still in the room because we hadn’t checked out yet. Overall the room was great and had amazing views of downtown and the mountains. A few minor details missing but nothing to raise a fuss about. We think we may have been the first to stay in that room.

Stay 2: Booked king corner room and paid cash for one night on a Sunday. We had a car this time so we valet’ed it for $36. Kept checking the app. No upgrades but they were still selling suites online. Got to the hotel around 4. Asked for an upgrade at check in and was given a king one bed room suite. Room had a kitchen table but no work desk in either room. We both worked at the desk. Coffee machine didn’t work in the room and again lack of garbage cans. Nothing in the living room and only one in the bedroom. Room was great though. Both rooms had hardwood floors which we love. No issues with 4 pm checkout this time.

Regency Club- served breakfast from 6:30-10 I believe then snacks 11-4. At our second check in they apologized for no dinner/apps in the club so it sounds like it may be in the works. We ate breakfast all 3 days and the same thing was served everyday. Only two hot dishes, Eggs, bacon, pastries, fruit, cereal, yogurt, etc. The staff was friendly in the morning. We got there at 945 and they offered to make us fresh eggs. I said that was necessary. Overall nothing to write home about but it was a basic breakfast. My one complaint was no to go container boxes to take back to the room. The host said we could bring our computers down and work but I’d rather work in our room. She was nice and said “I’ll look the other way if you want to take your plate up to the room” and we did. The afternoon service was a different story. They had cookies and snacks and a fridge full of soda and water. My wife went down and the lady working was in back. She came out and was extremely rude to my wife acting like she shouldn’t be in there. She gave our last name and the lady made her feel extremely uncomfortable. She was simply grabbing a coffee and a cookie to go.

We didn’t eat at any of the restaurants. We grabbed sandwiches out of the coffee shop the first night and ate off property for dinner the other times. The food looked really expensive with a lack of variety and feel there are better options for a quarter of the price within walking distance.

Overall I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. I think they have only been open 3-4 weeks and are still trying to get everything sorted out. Everything is brand new and great views from every room.
