I upgrade corporate reservations all the time. I have to do it one of two ways. Either I have the corporate agent hold my reservation before ticketing and then I pay the difference between Comfort Plus (which we are allowed) versus First. Or I call Delta after it's been ticketed and do it directly with them. The latter is almost always more expensive so I try to avoid that route.
