Hello everyone. I'm glad that I found this thread because I couldn't find much info about the transit in DEL airport elsewhere.
My situiation is that I have 2 seperate tix on CX and JL for a mileage run. HKG-DEL on CX plus DEL-TYO-USA on JL
I will arrive in DEL at 0025 and my next flight on JL will depart at 1955 on the same day. The main problem is that I might not be able to get a transit visa nor a evisa so I might end up spending ~20hrs in the transit area but I figured that I can book the Holiday Inn transit hotel in T3 for 24hrs max.

If that was the case, I won't be able to go thru immigation and reclaim my bag in DEL. Does anyone have any ideas whether CX can thru check my bag from HKG to TYO instead of US since my flight for US will be in a different airport in Tokyo on the next day.
Also, I want to know if JL could thru check my bag all the way back to HKG on my way home from HND to HKG
