Exit row seats are incredibly hard and uncomfortable to sit in. The cushioning is different than the rest of the plane -- something about the cushion having to support a certain amount of weight in the event of an evacuation.

I would take C+ over the exit row unless you are so tall that the extra legroom is a must have (in which case bring some sort of seat cushion with you)
