Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?

Book 2 nights under 1 Queen Classic with Lounge Access + 1 night under 1 Queen Cozy with points. Received a 2 Twin Premium with courtyard view for all 3 nights.

How are the rooms?

Large for Paris standards, with a huge bathroom with separate shower and bathtub.

How is the exec. lounge?

Excellent, but only came with the rate that I paid. Good buffet spread of continental breakfast, with a number of egg dishes to order, and Champagne available both during breakfast and evening reception. Pretty good spread during the evening, with a good amount of savory dishes and large number of desserts, plus a few candies. 1 white wine, 1 rose, and 2 red wines to choose from, plus Champagne.

What was good and what was bad?

Good - Large room. Close to Roissy Bus and metro/RER station. Gracious service at the lounge.

Bad - Housekeeping never replenished the bottled water. Service at the palm court can be hit and miss - our waiter forgot our second round of drinks, and we had to leave for dinner.

While the front desk acknowledged the back to back reservation, the key was not set up correctly, so I had to update the keys on day 3.

Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?

Using points - for sure. It was also a great use of Ambassador weekend certificate with the rate that included lounge access. Still, the upgrade was not outrageous like the Prince de Galles, where my friends got a full suite.
