When we unexpectedly received our child's passport right at 2mo--amazing, I know, esp without any request for expediting--we decided to fly internationally a month later and enrolled in M+ despite being a lap child for that flight. For all of our children, we started purchasing seats <2y, and it would be one less task to address.
