Seems like it would have made sense to park at a remote stand and put the stairs at the rear and deplane that way. Probably would have required hours to organize that, however.
How long did you have to stay seated before you were allowed to deplane?
Also, I wonder how they determined in mid flight that the cargo had shifted and that they would have a balance issue on the ground?
To be fair they did get ground team to sort it pretty quick, we remained seated for about 15-20 mins after parking up.
They didn’t say how they found out, I guess it’s plausible they knew before they took off, as someone said previously once some fuel had burned is when it became tail heavy. I did also wonder if the ground crews who loaded realised after departure and then contacted the crew…. Again making assumptions / theories up that maybe so far from reality.
