I was just about to make the same comment. I've only been in the JFK CCR once, when flying F, but I was impressed. It was quiet when I was in there and the only people in there were businessmen in suits. Didn't eat a meal in the lounge, but did partake in a few pre-boarding drinks.

Talking of a lounge experience, I still remember flying F out of SFO and, apart from one other person, I was the only person in the F small lounge. Someone from BA came to the lounge and told us we could board and escorted us through the regular lounge, which was slightly bizarre experience, almost straight onto the plane.

Mind you, I think that was trumped by flying F out of BGI where we were taken by a private taxi transfer from the lounge directly to the plane after everyone else had boarded.
