Had an interesting problem today that I’ve never come across before. As we were on final for Heathrow, the cabin manager came on the PA to say would everyone please remain seated once we park at the stand and that co operation is essential… because “we have been made aware of an issue and that the cargo at the rear of the plane needs to be offloaded before anyone can move around”

Has anyone come across this before? I am making assumptions but i am assuming that the cargo was not spread evenly for weight distribution, and I guess that if people stood up the plane risked tipping?
