No chance of them being unblocked on request. Even if they don't get used for crew rest, it wouldn't likely be until check in at the earliest that they're likely to become available. 7K is always blocked on LHR-MEX, which is my regular route, which is why I always book 7A/B instead. My best advice would be set some seat alerts on expertflyer.
