When I switched from AA/WN to DL, I had a ton of CR9 flights for 2-3 day trips. I bought a Ton Bihn Tri Star, which fits perfectly in the CR9 overhead. No wheels if that's a deal breaker for people. But it is a fabulous bag that can hold a lot of stuff. I usually pair it with a small duffel for under the seat.
