Looking for some advice regarding seating on an upcoming flight on a 777-300.

I’m on BA294, ORD > LHR during April next year, in J. Current seat map is showing a 777-300ER (77G) so it’s CW. I’m travelling solo and I’m currently silver so have free seat selection.

I’m a bit torn between the front and rear of the cabin and unsure for which row the pros outweigh the cons.

I’ve placed myself in 10A. Thinking is I’ll be one of the first served for food and I’ll be able to get a few hours sleep after my meal and a couple of drinks. A window seat also hopefully means less disturbance from traffic up and down the aisle and my assumption is the bulkhead behind me means less chance of disturbance from other passengers movements. The obvious cons are the First galley is just through the curtain and I’ll have to step over a foot stool to get out.

16A and 16K would have unhindered aisle access while still window seats and hopefully cocooned from aisle traffic. The cons are I’d be one of the last to receive their meal, the toilets are immediately after this aisle, as is the curtain for WTP, WTP bassinets are just beyond the curtain and there’s the risk of WTP passengers using the CW toilets, further increasing footfall in the immediate area.

My other thought was 11A or K. Similar pros and cons to row 10. Slightly further from the First galley although I’d now have another passenger immediately behind me.

What say the wise folk of FlyerTalk?
