Did you
try to make a claim with the airline? In my case (see above), I didn't expect United to pay because it was weather related, so I filed for Trip Delay Insurance. But United did pay (although not everything) after I submitted my claim. So now I have a check for the Trip Delay Insurance as well. Should I cash it? Worst they could do is ask for it back (or part of it)?
