I stayed at this property recently but it was a conference stay so may not be entirely useful info for those that are coming here for leisure.
I arrived from RSW airport and it was about a 23 minute Uber ride with no traffic. I arrived late to find a very friendly and helpful check-in agent. She gave me all the details I needed, noted my Globalist status and gave me coupons for breakfast. The hotel was sold out due to the conference I was attending and I assume the conference organizers had the suites booked up but I was given a very nice King Bay View room.
The room was very nice and spacious. It was a high quality and comfortable space. My only issue, and it is small, was the elevator seemed to create a wind tunnel type of noise that echoed in the room. I was across the hall from the elevator and not next too it but still echoed through. That did not bother me but it might bother some of you more sensitive noise folks.
The hotel property was in really good shape overall. The lazy river area was not open due to storm damage but hard to believe the grounds were under 10ft plus of water just weeks before. They did an excellent job getting things in order. The hotel opened just one week before we arrived.
The conference provided most meals so I did not really try many of the dining establishments. I did dine in the bar one evening and service and food was excellent. Everyone attending the conference noted how good the food was which is rare to be the case in my experience.
At the end of our conference, the GM got on stage and thanked us for continuing the conference. He also brought all the employees on stage so they could be thanked. All attendees were truly appreciative of the efforts of all the staff and gave them a very appropriate standing ovation. It was actually a very touching moment with most people being quite choked up.
I definitely recommend this property.
