If anyone is interested, I will write up a full trip report but just had a very disappointing stay at Aman Kyoto. This was my 25th Aman property but it was not exactly a splendid anniversary (not that there was anyone to celebrate as there was 0 recognition of my loyalty and no manager in sight anyway). To top it all off, I had requested for my stay to be confidential (no acknowledgment to outside callers about whether or not I was staying), which they failed to do. Anyway, so much wrong with this property, it has shaken my faith in Aman somewhat.
