For an airport stay, I highly recommend Hyatt Place Pena Station. One of the nicest HPs I've stayed at and even outshines some HRs IMO. It's fairly new, large open spaces and beautifully decorated. Best of all no aroma scent permeating the air as is the case with many other HPs (which is why I typically don't choose HP--hate that scent). Booked a standard room, cash rate, was upgraded to a very large king 1 bedroom suite (bedroom separated by a door), small balcony, on the top floor. Breakfast a notch above a typical HP. Reason for selecting this HP was since I was arriving very late, figured I could take the airport train there and then the next day onto the Grand Hyatt downtown. Very happy to learn HP Pena has a shuttle from the airport until midnight. Even more delighted to find it right there waiting at the curb as I stepped outside the massive DEN airport. Next day decided the RTD train to downtown wasn't going to be as easy as I'd thought, considering my luggage and the need to transfer at Union Station for the last mile to Grand Hyatt; so I wimped out and took Lyft for $26. Seemed reasonable considering the distance, RTD train was $10.50. Last nice touch, at checkout I received a lengthy, handwritten note thanking me for being a Globalist and for staying with them.
