And on all my visits to the US, I've found them to be exceptionally friendly and welcoming.. Surprisingly because I've always expected the opposite.
Fair enough, just goes to show that everyone's experience varies, though I must admit that you're the only person I've ever heard of who has described the US immigration as 'exceptionally friendly and welcoming'!!
No doubt we'll now get a plethora of people coming out of the woodwork to say 'oh yes, they are really friendly/very polite/lent me his car/paid off my mortgage' etc etc.
