Just made Ambassador again, but only because of an unexpected last-minute business trip that pushed me from 12k to 19k, topped off with some vacation I had already planned. My spend was down because I had shifted some of it to Hyatt to see if Globalist was any better... mixed results so far (but that's another thread). There's absolutely no way in hell I would have been willing to spend 7k of my own money just to keep Ambassador, as I never noticed a meaningful difference from my experiences as Titanium.
