Hi, I'm wondering if anyone has more recent datapoints on this scenario?

I booked BKK-NRT Y on Alaska for 15K miles
NRT-JFK F on AA for 80K miles

However I land in NRT at 8:45 AM and the NRT-JFK flight takes off at 10:15 AM

Wondering if this flight is relatively risky to take? And how would luggage transfer work? Do I have to call them to connect the two reservations?
