That's too bad. I booked award tickets that -- thanks to the new pandemic-era rules -- I think I can cancel without penalty if I want to. Given that my rez is for early spring, I've been waiting to call to see if anyone gets anything for their effort.

UPDATE: As a Globalist, I called customer care and the matter was "escalated." A Hyatt representative called me back the next day and, despite our longish and pleasant conversation, I got absolutely nothing from her. This one was mishandled by Hyatt (3 weeks before cancelling), but they're apparently not offering any compensation. Oh, well -- it's not hard to stay in Mexico City comfortably and affordably.
