I certainly don't have an exhaustive list of stays at hotels with an M Club, but I've never been asked for my room number nor seen staff asking if a group enters during meal times. M Clubs seem more casual than a traditional executive or concierge lounge where I've found the guest policies are more likely to be enforced.
