I ended up skipping it altogether and just ate late when I landed. AA doesn't let you order special meals on the pre-selection page of the website anymore and the regular ones on offer just didn't appeal to me at all. I sure wish fruit and cheese / charcuterie would be an option on every single domestic over 2 hours like what AS does.
