Cool Trains

This is the thread into which I can refer this.
If you are intrigued about Japan's intense train operations, you should Join the Japanese Railway Society. It is headquartered in the U.K., but there is a U.S.A. representative (in Iowa), and a brace of representatives in other English-speaking countries.
In May 2012, I presented a program about Japan's {albeit mostly Tokyo} rail lines, focused on the private train lines {i.e.: not J.R.} to the the Central Electric Railfans' Association. My presentation still exists. It has been compiled into a .zip file = 24.23 MB, and could be uploaded just about anywhere - if there is interest.
