I am out of MCO, so there is good availability for me. Having said that, I don't know really what to think.

There really aren't that many blackout days.

Booking only the day before and getting an immediate real ticket is probably better than playing some standby game a week before and arranging your schedule to only not get the ticket.

The downside of that is that while it will be easy to get places, getting back might be painful.

Having to pay the taxes, seat, and carry on fees are actually about 80% of the real price.

Last, the auto renewal at $2000 scares me.

Anybody have any guesses on how many flights would make this worthwhile, especially without 100K status. Seems like 10+ round trips.
