Well I'm extremely relieved to hear this, not to mention the fact that nobody else seems to have run into any issues with USB VGCs so far. Doesn't explain the issues that I've been running into the past 3 -4 days, but still gives me hope that my experience was just an outlier.

I guess I will continue my testing. Your hypothesis that they are possibly declining all debit transactions over a certain amount seems very reasonable..............other than the fact that Carrisco above had no issues at all with USB VGCs yesterday. Unless USB can control if swipes will go through or not in DIFFERENT REGIONS (which I would sort of doubt)............or if they can somehow block swipes (over $99?) from various batches of VGCs. Maybe certain Kroger/Frys stores in AZ got batches of compromised cards..........although again that DOESN'T explain why $99 charges would go through. Anytime I get a compromised USB VGC in the past year, you can't even set a pin # on that VGC, rather it goes straight to the Customer Service (Fraud?) Dept at USB when you call in to set a pin #.
