As a Gold, you will be pretty far down the waitlist, even with an instrument-supported upgrade (and behind all GSs). That being said, there's a lot of open seats, but it's a bit too early to get too excited on your chances, which I don't think are zero. It's going to depend on how many more higher Premiers waitlist between now and then, how many F seats they sell, and how many people buy up. Golds may not get processed until day of departure, leaving UA as much opportunity to sell the seats as outright F or as buyups. Also, some higher Premiers will sit on their PlusPoints until they think a CPU is unlikey, then apply them. 6 + weeks is along time...
