Back in the 80's, I took a flight on AA from Raleigh-Durham, NC to St. Petersburg, Florida late on Christmas Eve. The flight was packed with kids excited about Christmas. The flight attendants wore Santa hats and wore bells that rang as they walked through the cabin. During the flight, the captain would spot a light in the distance and announce to the kids there's Santa over there on the right side of the aircraft. The kids would scramble to the windows and talk about where Santa was going. He did it several times during the flight alternating sides of the plane so everyone would get a glimpse. It was the most festive and fun flight I ever took, and one I will always remember.
