Frontier's maintenance is performed in Tampa by Airborne/PEMCO, an MRO with a solid reputation. Frontier also keeps maintenance costs low by flying a very young fleet. The standard set by the FAA is the same for all certificated airlines and repair stations. No part 121 air carrier is going to knowingly fly an aircraft that isn't airworthy -- it simply isn't worth it.
On the line maintenance side, there are a lot of quality maintenance professionals who work at Frontier. Some like the smaller company family atmosphere, others like their shift and base, just like any other job. Check out this link for insight:

It's a nice story. Thanks for sharing it. Obviously, I hope it's all true. I am a little suspicious that the company is hiding all its quality, because everything I see as a passenger is not high quality.
