You already posted this question in another thread. As already noted in response in that thread, what ultimately matters for MQD/MQM/mileage earn is the marketing carrier, not the operating carrier. If the KE operated flight was marketed by Delta (had a DL flight number), then MQD earn is based on the fare cost, not the flight distance. Generally speaking, if you are purchasing tickets on the Delta website, the flights will all be Delta marketed (even when operated by partners) and MQD/mileage earn will thus be based on fare cost and you use Delta tables to calculate these. The MQM earn will be distance based in both cases and generally the same except for a few specific fare classes.
