Others have had success using Finnair and Royal Jordanian manage booking to remove the ffn and then re-enter in the ffn. Some add back on the web site of the airline they are travelling. Does seem random

QF on ground/phone and on time performance/scheduling/cancellations has improved since March 2022. But needs more, like some other airlines.
