Vests to stash heavier tech gear

I remember several years ago I read about photographers buying vests with a bunch of pockets to put their gear in during airline check in if the airline was picky about carry on weight. I find myself in (potentially) a similar situation where I want to go carry-on only on some airlines that may actually enforce weight limits.

What are some good vests to stash heavy items on your person so they don't get weighed at check in? I'd love to find one that can actually hold a 15.6 inch laptop (one of my heaviest items as it's a gaming laptop).

Normally I don't worry about these things, I have ample luggage allowance most of the time without paying, but on an upcoming trip I've got some short-ish separate ticket connections where I don't want to wait for baggage on the carousel or even enter the country to retrieve checked bags in one case. There's also the case of rampant baggage loss at certain airports this year, happen to be transiting one of those (LHR) and want to avoid that risk too.

Reckon I can eliminate a majority of my tech weight by attaching it to my body with a decently designed vest. (PC, a couple of GaN chargers with long USB C cables, a couple of power banks, Drone with spare batteries and fairly heavy remote, 360 cam with spare batteries, etc.)

What's on the market like this? Google search isn't getting me far but I'd think someone would have come up with it by now with all the people trying to avoid LCC luggage fees.

Just saw that Iberia flight attendants union successfully sued to force the airline to enforce tiny little carry on weights so they don't have to push up heavy overhead bin doors. I really hope that contagion doesn't spread further. I really appreciate airlines that regulate by size and not weight as tech gear does add up quickly.
