I had a 90 minute connection in Hong Kong yesterday going to Kuala Lumpur. My flight arrived half an hour late and my partner and I were panicking! Needless to say - our panics were unwarranted as we were met by Cathay staff at the gate who directed us to our next flight’s gate. We met the Cathay personnel at 07.52 and we were boarding our next flight at 08.14. The flight was scheduled to depart at 08.25! I’m more impressed our bags made the flight! Well done Cathay.

There are no temperature checks either (or social distancing) only mask wearing is required. Most shops are closed though but you’re recommended to use the The Pier if you have status/flying business. I would definitely transit via HKG again.
