Of course, they pay third party contractors for those maintenance services, so the savings is FAR more modest Still, I'm sure, they're per aircraft maintenance expenses are lower than Delta's.
Is the outsourced maintenance (likely foreign-sourced) as good as Delta's? Probably not. Is it good enough? Probably so.
