MZT required the FMM for foreigners when I flew in Sept. If you are visitor, you had to keep the Salida part and to give it to the airline at departure. Nothing changed here. If you are a resident, the agent took away both parts, scanned your resident card and passport and stamped the passport but you had to "check out" and fill out the Sailda at immigration and get the both the Salida part and passport stamped and give the Salida part to the airline.

GDL. No forms to fill out. They weren't present in the airport and none of the other US Passport holders I was with had them. Because I'm a resident, I likely still have to "check out" so it's likely just a scan of both my resident card and passport and a stamp of passport of when I left.

ADDED: Same old check out procedure.

TIJ, via CBX bridge. FMM for foreigners is still required as of Oct to enter the country. Nothing changed here. If you are a resident, the agent took away both parts, scanned your resident card and passport and stamped the passport. The Salida part is supposed to be turned in before you collect any checked baggage and exit the airport or go to CBX, but in my experience, enforcement of this requirement is lax so you can just chuck the Salida part in the trash. I think the signage mentioned about being proactive about completing the procedure, but people just filter out. If approached by immigration though (as this has happened to me a few times), then you better have it..
