I read lots of online articles talking about "The Great Reset" that's occurring in 2023 for both airline and hotel loyalty programs, especially in the U.S. So I wonder, why should AC be any different?

But, other than moving to a more revenue-based way of accumulating flight-based Aeroplan points, have we heard a peep about any status-related changes? Maybe, just maybe, some of the newly minted SEs will just fall off in 2024 due to the end of all of the status promotions, or maybe not.

But at some point, if everyone is special, then no one is special, and long e-up request queues may just be the new norm.
