All such tags have primary (single use) lithium batteries. It's secondary (rechargeable) lithium batteries that are prohibited.
i have never had any issues checking my rechargeable toothbrush and rechargeable shaver which both have lithium batteries. Lufthansa had no issues either but briefly had an issue with AirTags.
