just finished a 2 night stay here after returning from tokyo and before heading back to the UK.
got upgradeupfront king superior to king danube suite (221) on the corner with the living room facing the bastion and river danube and the bedroom facing the church.
very nice suite ( for 2 of the living room windows it was a bit hard to get a close up view out of them as they were behind the sofa so you had to squeeze by)
also the air conditioner vents are in front of the window.. However the views were fantastic and you could see all the action from your room
Yesterday caught the sun rise over the danube.
there is such a difference around the hotel between first thing ( only a few people spne are getting photos rajem ( ie one woman was in a wedding gown) then between 930 and 10am when the tour groups ( including several viking cruise tours).arrive close together.
late at night ie 8pm onwards the area then becomes very quiet again
