Wonder if a Lurker can chime in. I have been getting the rooms next to the elevator. Which I do not want. I wondered if somebody somewhere along the way had put a notation in my account to that effect.
(in the preferences there are a few choices for room, "near elevator" is one of them. However mine is checked for "high floor" and "near elevator" is definitely not checked, and "not near elevator" is not an option; the other options being "low floor" and "no preference.")
The agent on the phone said there is absolutely no way to notate anything on the account. That sounds bogus to me. I know Hyatt has notations. But, given Marriott's horrible IT, it may actually be true.
