Seat selection isn't guaranteed if you go down to Bronze, though sometimes it sticks apparently, provided you don't fiddle with the reservation too much. Bronze gets seat selection at 7 days so that may help you. Bag waivers depend on your status on the day of departure, so that's less likely to work in your favour.
Data point (FWIW) - I had a December seat booking locked in while silver, I was downgraded to bronze (incorrectly, but that's another story) and not only did it stick, but when there was an operational shift to those seats, I was then able to reselect new seats for no charge.
